A limited-edition collaborative collection, in tribute to the creative journey.

In science, the path to discovery is as documented as the final findings. But in art, a piece’s process—the steps of how it came to be—is often eclipsed by its final form. That unseen growth of ideas was the spark behind Actual Source, the design studio, publisher and book store, founded by designers JP Haynie and Davis Ngarupe. All in an unassuming place, Utah.

We chatted with the founders on their dedication to open-sourcing creative inspiration, preserving knowledge through many forms, and our latest four-piece collaboration: Kotn by Actual Source.
