Sales Coordinator

Kotn is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Representative to join our team! You will be responsible for sourcing, prospecting, and qualifying outbound sales opportunities for Kotn’s custom branded division of the company, Kotn Supply. As an integral member of our sales team and first BDR, you will work closely with an Account Executive to grow Kotn Supply’s new business via outbound sales to achieve our lofty sales goals, and will be a foundational member of our team and contribute heavily to a sales playbook that is in its infancy. This is an opportunity to really leave your mark on a new company with ambitious growth goals!

What you’ll be working on:

Production Operations (50%)

  • Coordinate the production of all domestic wholesale orders from warehouse to decorator to client
  • Work with 3rd party product vendors to create purchase orders on behalf of clients
  • Partner with L&D to manage the shipping of all wholesale orders via couriers
  • Support Sales team with creating and shipping sample orders
  • Facilitate inventory reservations via Shopify to satisfy client needs in advance
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for all wholesale production functions, always seeking new and innovative ways to improve and grow this function of the business.
  • Assist the General Manager in creating purchase orders for ordering additional inventory through Kotn’s supply chain in Egypt

Quality Control (25%)

  • Ensure accuracy, on time deliveries and consistent costing from suppliers
  • Work closely with Account Managers to communicate key order information, presenting solutions if any issues arise
  • Maintain CRM and production database, ensuring all information (costs, products, etc.) are up-to-date and accurate

Customer Relations (25%)

  • Work closely with clients to communicate project status, shipping dates, invoices and any other information pertinent to their order status.
  • Follow up after deliveries to ensure satisfaction and provide an exceptional experience

Additional Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a operations and/or production support role
  • Exceptional communication skills to ensure accuracy of information
  • Incredibly organized and able to manage multiple moving pieces at once
  • Committed to continuous improvement and can spot opportunities for optimization and implement solutions independently
  • Alignment with the company’s ethos is considered a requirement for this role. You’re passionate about ethical and sustainable fashion.
