Kotn is a Canadian apparel brand that sells high-quality, ethically made clothing in our online store, as well as bricks-and-mortar locations in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
This Privacy Notice applies to the Kotn website and ecommerce store. It describes the ways that we (Kotn and our affiliates) use personal information, our privacy practices, your rights, and how to exercise them.
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will post an alert online if the changes are material. If the changes will materially affect the way we use Personal Information that we have already collected, we will notify you.

We don’t knowingly or intentionally collect any sensitive information (like health information, geolocation data, race, ethnicity, sexuality, religion, etc). We ask that you don’t provide it to us but if you do, for example in the content of a message or review, we will treat it with care and will not use it for any other purposes.
Our website is not designed for children and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
When you make a purchase on this website, we collect the following personal information from you in order to process the transaction and fulfill the order:

Shipping address - in order to send you the merchandise
We use trusted third-party services and tools to host the online store, process payments, fulfill orders, and process returns and exchanges. The service providers are contractually restricted from using your personal information for their own purposes, except as follows:
When you pay with a credit card, the payment is made via the Shop app from Shopify. At checkout, you have the option to save your information and create a Shop account. If you choose that option, you’re creating a relationship with Shopify and the Shopify Privacy Policy applies to your account. If you choose not to create a Shop account, Shopify processes the payment on our behalf, but does not use your personal information for its own purposes. In either case, Shopify does not share your payment information with us.
We also offer the option to pay by Affirm, Afterpay, Paypal, and Google Pay. You’ll need to set up accounts with those services directly, and will be subject to their privacy policies. They do not share your payment information with us.
In Canada and the US, this processing is based on your implied consent. In the UK and Europe, our legal basis for this processing is that it is necessary for the performance of a contract with you.

Kotn does not sell personal information in the typical sense of the word, like exchanging it for money. However, our use of third party cookies and tracking technologies are considered a “sale” under some U.S. privacy laws.
Kotn shares personal information with third parties by participating in digital advertising networks such as Meta, Alphabet, TikTok, Microsoft Ads, and Pinterest, in affiliate marketing networks such as AWIN, and cross-merchant advertising programs such as Shopify’s Product Network.
You have a right to opt out of the sharing or sale of your personal information. To do so, you may:
