Founded in 2015, Kotn sells high-quality, well-designed, and ethically-sourced essentials made from the finest natural fibres. Since launching online in 2015 we’ve maintained rapid growth across our online and offline channels, opening multiple stores across North America and sending packages to over 180 countries. In 2017, we built an elementary school in Egypt for the children of our farmers, and others in their community—since then, we’ve built 10 more. Our mission is to revitalize a struggling industry that’s fraught with the unethical treatment of workers by creating a stronger and more cooperative method for economic and social development. Own paid acquisition strategy across channels including Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging platforms, with full accountability for CAC, ROAS, and acquisition efficiency

Serve as the internal subject matter expert on performance marketing, staying ahead of platform changes, algorithmic shifts, and the growing role of AI and agentic tools in paid media and campaign management

Lead the adoption of AI-driven approaches to media buying, creative testing, audience strategy, and campaign automation as the performance landscape continues to evolve

Oversee performance creative strategy in partnership with Brand and Creative, ensuring creative is built to perform and continuously tested and iterated

Own the attribution and measurement framework, including incrementality testing, so the team is making investment decisions from accurate, defensible data

Own the department P&L across acquisition, retention, and ecommerce, with accountability for profitable revenue growth

Understand the full commercial picture: how site experience, product assortment, pricing, and digital channels interact to drive business outcomes and ensure growth decisions reflect that holistic view

Proactively identify risks to growth, whether regulatory, competitive, platform-driven, or structural, and know when and how to resource the right external expertise to de-risk the business before those risks compound

Partner with Finance and the Head of Consumer to build forecasts, stress-test growth scenarios, and contribute to broader business planning

Identify emerging opportunities across channels, business models, and customer segments that can drive incremental, profitable scale

Oversee the growth modelling function, ensuring the business has a clear, forward-looking view of channel performance, customer economics, and where capital is working hardest

Own the department's analytics infrastructure and reporting standards, setting the bar for how the team measures and communicates performance

Partner with Growth Manager and Head of Consumer on LTV modelling, cohort analysis, and scenario planning to inform investment decisions and growth targets

Ensure all functions within the department, including retention, merchandising, and operations, are working from consistent, meaningful data

Cuts through complexity to set a clear direction, makes confident decisions about where to place bets, and translates ambitious business goals into focused, sequenced plans the team can execute against.

Approaches growth with curiosity and a bias for action: designs smart tests, learns fast, and builds a team culture where speed and iteration are the norm rather than the exception.

Holds the full picture from channel-level performance to department P&L. Creates alignment across a broad team through clear thinking, strong communication, and a shared sense of what winning looks like.

7+ years in performance marketing, with deep hands-on expertise in paid social and paid search, and a track record of driving efficient, scalable acquisition for a DTC brand

Proven experience with P&L ownership, with strong commercial and financial literacy

Director of Growth

Own the day-to-day execution of Kotn's paid media program across Meta, Google, Affiliate, and emerging platforms, including audience strategy, landing page and campaign builds, budget management, and daily pacing

Manage monthly and quarterly paid budgets against CAC, MER, and ROAS, and contribution targets, reallocating spend strategically across markets and channels as performance shifts

Own the full paid acquisition funnel from prospecting through retargeting, with clear accountability for new customer volume and efficiency

Brief and partner with Marketing & Creative to produce ad creative, and run a continuous testing pipeline of concepts, hooks, formats, and landing experiences

Manage platform partners, agencies, and vendors, holding them accountable to performance commitments and clear deliverables

Own the execution of Kotn's email program in Klaviyo, from brief through deployment, including campaigns, automated flows, and segmentation

Manage the email calendar end-to-end, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities, product launches, and seasonal moments

Build, optimize, and maintain lifecycle flows across welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, lapsed, and VIP moments to drive repeat purchase and customer lifetime value

Improve email performance through structured, ongoing testing of subject lines, creative, offers, send cadence, and audience segmentation

Maintain list health, deliverability, and overall platform hygiene, including integrations

Work with Ecommerce and Creative to connect email and paid messaging into a coherent customer journey across acquisition and retention

Retention Strategy & Loyalty Programs (25%)

Develop and optimize customer loyalty, rewards, and VIP programs to maximize repeat purchase rates and long-term customer engagement

Analyze customer cohort behavior, repeat purchase cadence, and churn triggers to implement targeted win-back and retention initiatives

Partner with Growth, Ecommerce, Brand, and Creative to integrate retention initiatives with campaigns, launches, and key commercial moments

Ecommerce Optimization, Analytics & Reporting (15%)

Build and maintain reporting on ecommerce performance (net sales, new and returning customers, AOV, conversion, ad spend, CAC, ROAS, MER, blended efficiency, repeat purchase rate, churn, and LTV

Translate performance data into clear recommendations on where to scale, where to cut, and what to test

Own the testing roadmap across paid and email, prioritizing experiments by expected impact and running them with enough rigour to draw and report on real conclusions

Partner with Ecommerce on landing pages and on-site experience so paid and email traffic converts efficiently

Report regularly to the Director of Growth on performance, wins, and opportunities weekly


Deep, hands-on experience building and managing paid social and paid search campaigns at meaningful scale, with a clear track record of hitting both retention / retargeting and acquisition / efficiency targets

Moves quickly and owns the details: comfortable being the person in the platforms and on the website everyday, shipping ads and emails on time and to a high standard without waiting for detailed instruction

Practical experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo), including retention lifecycle management, general campaign management, flow and email building, detailed segmentation, and deliverability

Comfortable in the data: measures what matters across both acquisition and retention metrics, isolates what's driving performance, and turns insight into prioritized action

Kotn is looking for a BOH (back-of-house) Associate to support the efficient operation of our store’s back-end processes. As an essential part of the Retail Operations team, you will ensure all inventory, deliveries, and stockroom activities are handled accurately and efficiently. This is an exciting opportunity, integral to the growth and success of Kotn’s Retail Business.

Handle deliveries and shipments, including scheduling and tracking shipments

Assist with the preparation of inventory audits and regular stock counts
