What you’ll be working on:
Operations (45%)
- Perform keyholder responsibilities, including opening, closing, and acting as Manager-on-Duty when required
- Lead all back-of-house (BOH) operations, including shipment processing (24 to floor), stockroom organization, and cycle counts; ensure alignment with BOH standards and supervise professional inventory counts as needed
- Take initiative in identifying and implementing improvements to operational processes that support efficiency and drive a stronger omni-channel customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, efficient, and customer-ready cash wrap area, ensuring smooth daily operations and transactional flow
- Uphold health, safety, and security protocols to foster a safe and compliant environment for both customers and team members
Visual Merchandising (35%)
- Own execution of monthly and mid-month visual merchandising flips from planning through to completion, aligning with brand directives, timelines, and standards
- Maintain strategic product presentation by managing restocks, de-stocks, and recovery efforts; monitor sales floor volume and communicate inventory needs to Store Manager
- Partner with Store Manager to leverage reporting tools that optimize outfitting, product placement, and inventory flow
- Guide and coach team members to consistently uphold visual and operational excellence across all product categories and in all store zones
- Champion the daily cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring Kotn’s elevated aesthetic is consistently maintained
Customer Experience & Service (20%)
- Be present and engaged on the sales floor, delivering best-in-class service and fostering personalized customer interactions
- Collaborate with leadership team to execute in-store activations and events, taking ownership of merchandising and operational setup
- Promote and support Kotn’s full suite of services, including wholesale and omni-channel offerings, to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Process transactions with accuracy and intention, capturing customer opt-ins and ensuring a smooth close to the in-store experience
- Address and resolve customer experience opportunities (CXOs) in a timely and brand-aligned manner

Additional Requirements
- 1–2 years experience in a leadership role in a mid-high volume, customer-driven retail environment
- Proven experience in both visual merchandising and retail operations
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through
