What you’ll be working on:
Financial Planning
- Meet sales targets and set market’s KPIs in support of business and financial objectives; reporting on each weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually to consistently evaluate profitability and strategies for success
- Perform managerial and administrative duties to maintain accurate financial reporting and evaluate store margins; from people operations, and expense tracking to overall profitability
- Leverage other teams including Inventory, Buying and Marketing as needed to support proactive profit-driving initiatives to deliver on financial goals
Customer Experience Strategies
- Develop a deep understanding of customer preferences across the store markets to create strategic initiatives for propelling community-centricity
- Monitor the competitive landscape of markets and strategically develop consumer initiatives to drive innovation, remain culturally relevant, and proactively address potential threats
- Work with Associate Market Managers and Community Leads to validate seamless execution of experience standards in-store; constantly prioritizing customer experience and building our community network of loyal customers
- Support Associate Market Manager in resolving CEOs promptly by going above and beyond to ensure a consistently great experience and a satisfactory resolution to all customer interactions
- Communicate upcoming product launch dates, collection PK and marketing initiatives to Retail teams to streamline delivery method of information, for effective planning and implementation across all doors
People Management
- Source strong candidates that align with Kotn’s values and ethos and execute recruiting, hiring, onboarding and training of new team members
- Develop Associate Market Managers, Operations Leads and Community Leads by providing feedback and coaching to evaluate successes, opportunities, and pathways for growth consistently
- Work directly with Associate Market Managers to identify store opportunities as well as performance gaps among team members to create action plans for success and maintain strong team morale
- Create a culture of accountability: set standards and implement best practices for the team to strengthen efficiency, accuracy, and execution within all retail pillars
- Provide coaching, feedback, and manage performance of direct reports at all locations within your location/market
Operations
- Manage planning and operations of day-to-day activities within stores to ensure the right team members are focused on the right objectives at the right time
- Work alongside Associate Market Managers and Operations Leads to succeed in effective inventory management processes and problem-solve inventory opportunities
- Take initiative with ideating new processes to streamline operations and maximize efficiency to provide a better omni-channel customer experience
- Identify operational opportunities and connect with relevant teams to improve processes and evaluate efficient solutions
Visual Merchandising
- Maintain and evaluate physical store standards to propel our brand and uphold quality, presentation, and safety
- Hold Associate Market Managers and Operations Leads accountable for visual presentation and merchandising execution to maximize revenue and drive brand interest
- Facilitate the evaluation of product performance, monitoring opportunities for product success to promote strong sell-through as well as provide insights to relevant teams
- Monitor stock levels and make product requests as required to ensure the right product, is in the right place, at the right quantity
- Streamline visual communications by liaising with Creative and Marketing teams to secure, facilitate and deliver print assets as well as disseminate key information to Retail teams for visual initiatives

Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a customer-centric, people management role
- Experience in apparel retail, e-commerce or customer experience is a must
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously
- Ability to divide time between store locations and remote in accordance with business needs
