KOTN is looking for a Product Development Coordinator to support the product development team in bringing our collections from concept to production. As part of the Impact & Supply Chain Team, you will help keep our development process running smoothly by managing key administrative and coordination tasks across the product lifecycle, while learning and growing within a team deeply committed to sustainability and ethical sourcing.
What you'll be working on:
Product Development Support (40%)
- Assist in tracking the product development calendar and ensuring key milestones are met on time.
- Enter and maintain style, SKU, and BOM data in the PLM system with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare and organize tech packs, spec sheets, and development documents for internal review and vendor communication.
Sample & Material Coordination (30%)
- Track inbound and outbound samples across all development stages (proto, SMS, PP, TOP).
- Log sample comments and approvals, flagging discrepancies to the Product Development team.
- Coordinate with vendors on sample timelines and follow up on outstanding deliverables.
- Support material sourcing by organizing swatch libraries and maintaining fabric and trim records.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Sustainability (30%)
- Act as a point of contact between product development, design, merchandising, and production for day-to-day development queries.
- Help compile reporting on development status, open actions, and timeline risks for weekly team syncs.
- Support the team in maintaining sustainability and compliance documentation for all developments.
- Stay curious about industry trends in sustainable materials and manufacturing.
What you'll bring:
Experience & Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in product development, production, or a related coordination role within apparel or textiles.
- Familiarity with garment construction, materials, and basic production processes.
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with data entry and spreadsheets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. PLM or Airtable experience is a plus.
Communication & Organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines without letting things slip through the cracks.
- Clear, proactive communication style. Comfortable working across departments and with external vendors.
- A willingness to ask questions and learn on the job.

Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000
