I actually love this dress. I gave it 4 stars, but I guess it should be 5 — I just gambled and ordered the wrong size. I have it in a size large in another colour and because it's roomy in the top and so many of the reviews report that the fit is big, I decided to try a medium in black. It was a mistake. By sizing down I lost the flow of the dress. It's a bit too snug around my rib cage and makes me look 6 months pregnant. I now appreciate the looser fit. I'm a 36C and I can wear both the medium and large sizes without a bra. The weight of the fabric is lovely. They're a bit spendy, but the quality is there and it's a very practical piece. I'll wait for a sale again and buy the black in large.

I already bought another one in black.
I bought this and immediately bought a black one too. My main reasoning for buying this was to have something comfortable and cool for the Italian summer heat while on vacation. Now that I'm home it's still in rotation. I love that it's thick enough on the chest the I could wear it without a bra if I wanted. It has pockets. The fabric is thicker than it looks but not too warm. And the cut is so flattering. I layer it with a sweater if it's cooler too!

A summer staple!
This is a perfect summer dress! The cotton fabric is of quality, soft and thick, with a nice drap. I have one in black and one in white, they are perfect for everyday, vacation or the office under a blazer. I’m between a small and medium in dress, in the small fit me perfectly.

Comfy and great pockets!
Very comfortable fabric, feels like thick, good quality, cotton. I love the classic silhouette with the elegant thinner straps. The scooped back adds visual interest and the pockets are a winner! And there's some subtle volume on on skirt that helps hide a food baby. I can see this being layered for wearing it into fall as the skirt is thick enough for cooler weather. I agree with other reviewers that this is a Longer dress. I'm 5'6" and it hits me at the ankles. It will graze the lip of the steps when walking up stairs, but I haven't tripped yet!

Quality fabric and workmanship
Quality and workmanship is excellent - the sizing worked out - I may put it in the dryer for a bit in future. Being a Senior I am most likely not your target market, however, with a tee or light summer sweater I can wear this anywhere. Very impressed

This piece is so clearly well made. The material is comfortable and lovely. I used the size chart and measured to choose my size and it fits perfectly. The only thing I’m unsure about is the length. I’m only 5’5” ish and it comes down to just above my ankle. I may get it hemmed to more of a mid calf length but excited to style it and wear it everywhere.

Skirt too long
The silhouette is not nearly as flattering in real life as on the model. I am 5’5” (not short) and the bodice and skirt are both way too long. I ordered a medium. Fabric is good quality and I appreciate the pockets. I thought this was going to be my future summer go to but I’m not sure as it vibes frump on me.
